SpiritSong is a vehicle for self-expression. You don't have to be a "singer" to benefit from this practice. It is a tool for healing, clearing and self -expression. We will use creative writing, group discussion, toning, group chanting and movement to connect to the Creative Source. By creating a safe, loving and sacred circle, we allow ourselves to open up and hear our inner voice. In allowing ourselves to recognize and sound this inner voice, we find freedom, release and self-empowerment. By joining our voices and energy in sacred space, we will help one another to find strength, courage and connection to Spirit. ~ Please pre-register: $90.00

Free Spirit Gathering
June 10th - 15, 2008

Kellianna with Incus
Ramblewood Retreat Center
Darlington, Maryland, USA
In addition to great music, we’ll have many new vendors on Merchants Row offering everything from books to tattoos, terrific Children’s Programming, nightly African style drumming and dancing by the lakeside bonfire, a full schedule of sweats in our Sweat Village and workshops by nationally and regionally known presenters. This year, our presenters will include Magnus and Spinner and Sylvia Brallier.
Of course FSG is much more than all that. It's a family friendly, kid safe, sacred community. A place where you can openly live and celebrate your spirituality with likeminded folks, learning and experiencing new things. And leave feeling refreshed and reinvigorated.

Spirits of the Earth Festival

July 1st - 6th, 2008

5198 Stewardson Rd,
Plympton- Wyoming, Ontario Canada
www.spiritsfest.com

We are a group of earth centered individuals who come together to study the elements and the endless cycle of life. Spirits of the Earth is a gathering focusing on conservation, preservation, and creating a deeper relationship to divinity.

Our goal is to bring like-minded individuals together to form a sense of community. We welcome all who are of earth-based spirituality and other open-minded individuals to join us in a sacred space where communication of life, love and spirituality is available without fear or prejudice. We form a network to share knowledge of our ways with others.

Spirits of the Earth is a festival creating unity between old friends and an opportunity to meet new ones. We offer access to a wider variety of specialized vendors and holistic practitioners that may not otherwise be readily available.

We teach individuals how to bring spirituality and positivity into their every day lives. We show people how to put aside “sacred time” and teach techniques of meditation to center one’s self with the energies of the earth.

The motto we live by is to "Harm None" resulting in our belief of the three-fold return; this being karma which is the concept that all energies put forth are returned. This is a reminder to act in a positive fashion at all times.

We offer opportunities to learn about astrology which is the study of the Earth, Planets, Stars, Moon, Sun, and their relationship to us. We also offer the studies of “magick” meaning we have control over our lives, showing that if we aren’t satisfied with certain aspects of our lives we can change them through positive actions. Thoughts are things, that is, thoughts generate and release energy and, if repeated with intent can be powerful sources of energy. We can improve our lives and harm none through positive thinking; even our thoughts can be expressions of our spirituality.

One of our most important concepts is (as Scott Cunningham calls it) “Earth Stewardship;” which is caring for our planet. We carry this out by rinsing and reusing bottles; composting; recycling paper, aluminum cans, plastic and glass. This is an act of spirituality, for we are caring for our planet. Similarly, planting a tree; tending gardens; giving gifts of plants to others; refusing to use artificial pesticides; donating to ecological causes; writing letters in support of preserving endangered animals and their environments (forest, wetlands, and other environmentally sensitive areas) are all further expressions of concern and love for our planet.

Plants and Chants
A SpiritSong Retreat

September 12 - 14th, 2008

Temenos, 65 Mt. Mineral Road,
Shutesbury, MA 01072

www.massretreats.com

Please join chantress Kellianna and herbalist Chris Marano for a transformative weekend retreat connecting us to Mother Earth through the Beauty of Song and the Language of the Plant World. Experience songs of the earth, songs of the green world, and songs of our souls.

In Sacred space we will create song circles, practice group meditation, ritually cleanse and purify with each of the four elements including a traditional Cherokee water ceremony and transformative fire circle, identify Native plants and herbs for food and healing, and most importantly, practice loving witness of ourselves, one another and Mother Earth.

Kellianna, Singer/Songwriter and SpiritSong teacher, along with Chris Marano, Herbalist and teacher, have weaved their unique talents to provide a weekend of self-empowerment, healing and shared creative expression. SpiritSong is a powerful technique that permits us to connect to our Primal Voice and the Creative Source. In creating a " tent community" we become more open to the wonder and wisdom of the natural world. With years of training in herbal medicines, Chris Marano helps guide us to open our minds and hearts of awareness to the Language of the Green World.

Forestdance @ Earthlands
Aug. 27th - Sept. 2nd

Petersham, Massachsetts
www.forestdance.net

COME DO THE SACRED AROUND THE FIRE
The sacred dynamic fire circle experience is a co-creative, all night, eclectic spiritual ritual in which a safe art and sharing space is developed around a fire. Inside, from around midnight until dawn, energy and awareness is raised and cultivated through drumming, dancing, singing, chanting, and various other forms of human expression. Through the balance of listening, serving one another, and expressing, these layers of that which we have necessarily gathered together tightly to protect ourselves, come down, until a simple and free flowing state of embodied divinity and deep personal freedom rises through us. This culture is very much about reclaiming our own intimacy and our right to experience life to the fullest.
